In line with the current administration's policy goals for state affairs, the Fifth Presidential Commission on Architecture Policy takes up its duties under the objective of "Good Architecture and a Good Life, Healthy Architecture and a Healthy Country".

For the efficient management of architectural assets, the Commission is committed to providing high-quality public architecture, improving the quality and style of small buildings, and enhancing the value of spaces built through regional development projects, which will revitalize small and local businesses and enrich people's daily lives, thereby helping all residents enjoy architecture as culture. However, transformation and innovation in an architectural paradigm to serve a new Zeitgeist (spirit of the age) cannot be achieved by the Commission's efforts alone. Changes are necessary in all aspects ranging from public systems in terms of law, institutions and administration to the front line of architecture at which a floor-area ratio game is being played.

Good architecture is a critical cornerstone for a healthy country. Envisioning that architecture becomes a source of pride for our country, the Fifth Commission will work together with the people to create a new spirit of the time and build valuable assets worthy of being handed down to our future generations.
